Meet your Atascocita portrait photographer- me! 🙂
Okay. So break from our normal programming of photos of other people. Now I get to be in the spotlight!
Okay so I understand why it is stressful to be behind a camera. Even being an Atascocita portrait photographer, I got nervous before taking these photos. And even though I know how to pose others, it is different posing yourself! I wasn’t sure quite what I looked like, lol.
Let me be your professional Atascocita portrait photographer
Don’t worry. When we do your family session, I will pose you and fix a hand or leg if it needs to be moved.
What I will wear to make sure your atascocita portraits are beautiful!
See that funny looking strap thing? It’s called a MoneyMaker Holdfast. I got it last year and wish I had purchased it sooner! It allows me to be hands free when I pose you and your littles.
It also allows me to have two different lenses with quick access. This is important because I can move quick to get a variety of photo shots before your little ones are too tired.
Although I may dress more professional when we meet for our consultation or reveal, I may be more casual for our photo shoot. This is so I can run around and get at the level of your littles!
Ok…This photo is a little silly. I’m posing with my cameras in a way I probably never would…but I needed variety. haha.
So some personal details about me:
I am an adoptive mom.
I am a special needs mom. (My son Isaac has autism and other health issues like hearing loss and sleep apnea.)
I love the feeling I get after I run. (Notice I said the feeling after I run. I don’t necessarily like the process.)
I love playing tennis. It is my exercise of choice when I have the option.
I love music. Live music. Country music. Musicals. Classic Rock. Oldies. You name it.
And this one is probably my favorite. You will see I use it as my profile pic in a lot of places. I love the way the light is coming from behind and lighting my hair.
I also think my smile looks natural. Sometimes I smile too big. My husband says I look funny. This is especially true when I take photos with my son Isaac. I often am trying to tickle him to make him smile and so my smile looks unnatural.
Do you do that? Do you ever smile too big?
When we take your Atascocita family photos I will be the crazy one behind the camera. I will be making silly noises and tickling your little one to get them to smile.
Be sure to let me know before your family photo shoot if there are any favorite songs or silly words that your kids like.
